What happens?
After the download of the PLC program the following message dialog is opened:
The download is complete. Start the plc program now?
If this message is acknowledged with the <Enter> button, DDS logs out. The PLC program is not started.
When does the problem occur?
If the above-described message dialog is acknowledged with the <Enter> button, DDS logs out. Although in this dialog the <Yes> button is edged, the <No> button is the default setting, operated by pressing the <Enter> button.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use either the mouse or the space bar to control this message dialog. Alternatively, this message can also be deactivated. In this case the PLC program starts automatically.
This function restriction has been remedied in DDS Version 2.2.
Evaluation:
For fast control of dialogs it is often the keypad which is used instead of the mouse. Owing to this function restriction communication with the target system (e.g. Servo PLC) is unexpectedly aborted if the <Enter> button is pressed.
