What happens?
In the ST editor (editor for structured text) the variable values are not updated in the monitor box next to the program logic.
When does the problem occur?
In the ST editor the variable values are displayed in the monitor box next to the program logic. The values of all variables in a program line are displayed in that monitor box in a number of columns.
If the horizontal scroll bar for the monitor box is not on the far left, the variable values are not updated.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
If the scroll bar or the box is moved, the variables are updated.
This function restriction has been remedied in DDS Version 2.2.
Evaluation:
This function restriction is a display error which has no effect on execution of the program in the PLC. This function restriction makes troubleshooting in the program more difficult.
