What happens?
Via the DDS menu Insert>Comment a comment can be inserted in the selected network of the program logic.
If in those network comments there are IEC keywords such as IF, FOR, AND, OR, etc., they will be automatically written by DDS in capital letters.
When does the problem occur?
In the editors for the languages Ladder Diagram (LD) and Function Block Diagram (FBD) the IEC keywords in network comments are written by DDS in capital letters automatically.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Always enclose comments inside the strings (* and *), as is required in the text editors. In this case IEC keywords will not be written by DDS in capital letters, not even in network comments.
Evaluation:
Comments serve to document the DDS project. The legibility of the comments is only slightly impaired by this function restriction. With the recommendation described above the comments are displayed as required.
