DDS crashes when writing variable values

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-P (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Version 2.0, 2.1)

What happens?
DDS is connected online to the target system, e.g. to a Servo PLC. If in the PLC Configuration (Resources tab) there is a fast double-click on a system variable, the dialog for writing variable values opens up a number of times. If in each of those dialogs the <OK> button is pressed, DDS crashes.

When does the problem occur?
The dialog for writing variable values is only opened in the case of 'non-Boolean' variables.
If when this dialog is opened a tool tip is displayed at the same time, the dialog may be opened up several times if the left mouse button is pressed a number of times. Pressing the <OK> button in this dialog causes DDS to crash.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
If you discover that the dialog for writing variable values has been opened a number of times, close it with the <Cancel> button.

This function restriction has been remedied in DDS Version 2.2.

Evaluation:
When DDS crashes, the project changes made are discarded after the last backup of the project. In the DDS options the default is Auto save of the project with an Auto Save Interval of 5 minutes. Any data loss is therefore minimised.
