Which products are affected?
9300 vector 0.37…90 kW SW V2.1
What happens?
When entering specific speed values under code C0038 or C0039 via Global Drive Control, the entry in the input field changes independently in the background by some thousandths decimal places although only integers are permitted.
Moreover, although the parameter has not been changed, a deviation is indicated under code C0039 subcode 2 when comparing the parameters in the drive controller using the default setting via Global Drive Control.
In case of some values the integer (speed in rpm) is rounded slightly incorrectly under codes C0038 and C0039 (e.g. 1000 rpm changes to 1000.0001 rpm).
When does the problem occur?
When entering the values ± 672…1342 and ± 5386…6709, the deviations described before occur. If the parameters are compared afterwards, GDC identifies a deviation to the integer and lists the affected codes in the parameter set comparison.
Possible diagnostics?
Use GDC to read back the value in the parameter window.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
- Change the parameters using the keypad.
- Deviations which may be indicated (1000 rpm / 1000.0001 rpm) are to be ignored when comparing the parameter sets via GDC.
Evaluation:
The rounding errors do not affect the drive performance.
