Motor identification is aborted when determining the leakage inductance (C0085)

What happens?

The motor identification is aborted and error message ID2-TRIP is indicated. The value measured is outside the tolerance range defined by the entered motor data.

When does the problem occur?

During the automatic motor identification in case of motors with ratings of 400V / 690V Δ/Y in delta connection.

Possible diagnostics?

The value 593 is displayed under code C0300. This parameter can only be read out by using a keypad.

 Short-term measures/recommendations?
  • Repeat the automatic motor identification
  • Calculate the motor parameter from the motor data sheet: see article No. 20033695
  • Compare the leakage inductance with an identical motor: see input assistant for motor data in GDC

Evaluation:

The control quality of the vector control mode can decrease without a successful motor identification or faulty motor parameters and an operation in the vector control mode is not possible. The incorrect behaviour occurs immediately during commissioning.
