Motor rotates during parameter set transfer

Which products are affected?

GD Loader Version 1.x, 2.0
8200 vector
8200 motec

What happens?

The motor driven by the 8200 vector or 8200 motec starts to rotate when transferring parameter sets. Codes C0174 and C0469 cannot be written during the parameter set transfer.

When does the problem occur?

Although the frequency inverter is enabled from the hardware and software side the frequency inverter sets the controller inhibit bit under code C0150 if 0 is selected as a setpoint. Only if a setpoint larger 0, e.g. via C0140 (= additive frequency setpoint) is selected, this bit is reset by the frequency inverter.
If the controller inhibit bit is set under code C0150, parameter sets can be transferred by using the GD Loader. If the parameter set under code C0140 is unequal 0, the motor driven by the frequency inverter starts to rotate when transferring parameter sets. Due to the enabled frequency inverter codes C0174 and C0469 cannot be written by the GD Loader.

Possible diagnostics?

None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

The frequency inverter is to be inhibited from the hardware side before transferring parameter sets.

Evaluation:

Since the frequency inverter signals controller inhibit, the GD Loader does not set an additional controller inhibit. An unintended motion during the parameter set transfer can be avoided by inhibiting the frequency from the hardware side.
