9300EP servo positioning controller as of versions V2.5 and V6.1.
Function description
For absolute value encoders connected at encoder input X8 of the controller, the monitoring function was extended.
After switching on the controller the absolute position information is read several times during initialisation phase and it is detected, if the same value is transferred to the drive. A deviation ≤ 5° at the motor shaft is tolerated and at the drive does not trip.
The status is indicated via error code SD7 which is already used to display a communication error for these encoder systems.
Applications
Applications with the need to be able to detect changed motor positions when the encoder/drive are in no voltage condition.
