Why is the hardware driver of the USB CAN adapter EMF2177 not found under WIN 2000?
Answer:
When the driver for the CAN USB adapter EMF 2177 is installed it may happen that the Windows operating system cannot assign the drivers automatically. This is the case if the message '...Driver not installed ...' is displayed after the USB CAN adapter is plugged in. The red LED on the adapter is not on.
The hardware driver must be selected manually. Please follow the Windows instructions. After the installation of the USB adapter or GDC ≥ V4.5, the hardware driver is under 'C:\Programs\Lenze\Drivers'.
