How is the reaction?
The corresponding software package is not installed correctly.
When does the problem occur?
1. For the installation of a software package, a version 2.0 or higher of Drive PLC Developer Studio is necessary. This/These DDS version(s) are installed under DriveX\Programs\Lenze\DDS_P_2_XX as a standard.
2. When a software package is installed a dialog displays which DDS versions were found. Tick 'update other DDS versions' and the software packages are installed in all DDS versions higher than 2.0.
If the path under 1 was changed (case-sensitive) and if you tick as described in 2, the problem occurs.
Possible diagnostics?
During installation all DDS versions are listed which are considered for the update. If no DDS version is displayed in this dialog field the error has occurred.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
1. Check the path for DriveX\Programs\Lenze\DDS_P_2_XX and change, if necessary.
2. During installation, remove the tick that all DDS versions are considered. This copies the software package to the DDS version which was installed last.
Evaluation:
The error occurs only if the specified installation path was changed manually during the installation of Lenze software products. The error can be bypassed by the measures described.
