Applications
To reduce the wear on the drive components, linear acceleration ramps can be generated and thus a large jerk or step in the acceleration prevented.
Function description
By using S-shape ramps (S-profiles), acceleration and braking processes are initiated gently with the intention of reducing the jerk and thus reducing the wear on the drive components.
This function can only be used with limitations that are described under 'Known function restrictions'.
