What happens?
The download of the parameter set is cancelled with the following message:
The target system has not responded within the set timeout time.
When does the problem occur?
Quick PCs have a high transfer rate during parameter set download. This high transfer rate leads to a sporadically occurring blockade of the communication for EMF2172IB.1B.12 AIF module.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
From Global Drive Loader version 1.2 on the function restriction is cleared.
Evaluation:
The Global Drive Loader supports the parameter set download via an AIF module only for the 8200 vector drive controller. The problem occurs only sporadically and only with usage of this AIF module.
