What happens?
The download of the parameter set is cancelled with the following message:
The software version of the target system does not match the program to be loaded.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs when the version of the target system (operating system of the drive controller) is not identical with the version, which is saved in the parameter set file.
This case happens e. g. when the version of the target system is more current than the target system, with which this parameter set file was created.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
For each new version of the target system an adaptation of the parameter set file is to be executed.
For PLC target systems the target system is to be adapted for each new version, e. g. from 1.x to 2.x in the DDS project file. Additionally, a new device description file (*.PDB) is to be created and thus a new parameter set file (*.GDC).
Evaluation:
For each new version of the target system the customer must create and manage a parameter set file. Before the parameter set download the version of the target system is to be checked. With usage of the batch mode (automatic program / parameter set download) the script file is eventually to be adapted.
