Switch-on inhibit, LOCK-MODE

Question:

What does the display switch-on inhibit (LOCK-MODE) in the display of the keypad or in the GDC software of 9300 servo inverter mean?

Answer:

The function switch-on inhibit is activated via C0142 = 0 and serves for the restart inhibit of a drive after mains connection, TRIP or message (t > 0.5 s). This inhibit can be cancelled with a signal change of the controller enabling.

In the status word C0150 the switch-on inhibit is displayed with the Bits 8-11 = 1hex.

This display switch-on inhibit refers only to the inverter's restart after mains connection. If EMF 2133 profibus-DP communication module is applied, the application of the profile DRIVECOM also leads to a switch-on inhibit. Please do not mix up the DRIVECOM status switch-on inhibit with the controller status switch-on inhibit.
