Register mark, automatic window adjustment

Question:

How is the automatic window adjustment realised for a register mark?

Answer:

The window adjustment is applied, if e. g. there is a slight slip between the feed roll and the material, so that the assignment of the master value to the register mark is not ensured anymore.

The standard configuration C0005 = 30000 includes the interconnection of function blocks for the window adjustment already. The user only has to make sure that a valid register mark pulse can be shown at the output 'RC-PMPULS' The pulse generation is enabled at the input 'RC-PMDIS' with a HIGH level. If this input is not applied to HIGH level, the window adjustment will not be carried out in spite of adjusted parameters.

The adjustment is parameterised in the standard configuration in following code digits:

C0473/4 (unit 1/100 mm):
  • Condition for execution of the positioning commands: The distance of the register mark to the window centre must exceed the value adjusted in C0473/4. Then there will be made one positioning command per register mark.

C0473/5 (unit 1/100 mm):
  • Positioning command in negative direction

C0473/6 (unit 1/100 mm):
  • Positioning command in positive direction
