Motor parameter identification of hoist application in current control
Question:
Is a motor parameter identification required for a hoist application with 9300 hoist (C0005 = 10xxx) in duty type current control (C0006 = 6)?
Answer:
Yes, the motor parameter identification is to be effected because:
In the duty type current control (C0006 = 6) the drive controller requires the correct stator resistance in order to calculate which voltage is to be impressed, so that the correct IMset current (C0024) is set. This current is required in order to control the load in case of standstill and low speed.
The stored motor model considers the remaining parameters (stator inductance, leakage inductance and rotor resistance), which optimise the drive behaviour.
Additionally the inverter error is measured, which is, however unimportant for the hoist.
