Use of system variables in direct commands

Which products are affected?

ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer Version 1.3 and 1.4)

What happens?

The following error message occurs during compilation: ERROR – Compiling of variables/area – memory area - lengths not possible

When does the problem occur?

If a system variable is used as enabling condition in the direct command project component, the error mentioned above will occur during compilation.

Possible diagnostics?

The error message mentioned above is generated as a result of the project compilation.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

System variables must not be used as enabling condition in the project component direct commands.
