External 24 V supply, reverse voltage protection for digital outputs

External evaluation of fault signals from the Regenerative Power Supplies 9340 at terminals X2/A1 and X2/A2
Description:
Depending on the HW status (see e.g. rating plate EMB934X-X.HW.SW) the supply/energy recovery model is protected against reverse voltage from the external 24 V supply:
HW <= 1G: If the 24 V control voltage is reversed and terminals 39 and 59, the digital outputs will be damaged beyond repair if the continuous current of the supply voltage is not restricted by external precautions. For the purpose of protection a 250 mA miniature fuse can be fitted, for example.
HW >= 1H: The Regenerative Power Supply is protected against reverse control voltage when connecting up.
