What is the reaction?
The Sytsembus CAN Field bus function modul generated CAN Remote with Identifier ID 0.
When does the problem occur?
When switching on the controller 8200 vector / 8200 motec or starttec in conjunction with CAN-FIF are remote frames sent. With softwareversion >= 3.1 from 8200 vector/motec this remote Frames are only send on the bus when Sync signal are also at the bus.
Possible diagnoses?
The answered remote frames look like this:
- Identifier = 0
- no data bytes
Quick remedy/recommendations?
These remote frames are generated by an error of the CAN controller. Other CAN devices can't reply to these remote frames, becuase the haven't data bytes. These remote frames do not cause any incorrect behabiour of the CAN network or CAN devices.
