Faulty torque display

Which products are affected?
EVF9300EV Software V2.1

What happens?
In 'vector control' mode the signals MCTRL-MSET2 and MCTRL-MACT are proportional to the torque-generating current and refer to the maximum torque C0057. It can happen that the output signals are output incorrectly (by factor ± 5) depending on the drive/motor parameters (usually only if P > 11 kW). The internal motor control is not affected by this function restriction.

When does the problem occur?
If the output signal is used for a superimposed control/function, this faulty value can lead to misinterpretations (e. g. visualisation, monitoring, etc.) and even changes of the drive performance (e. g. in case of the torque control).

Possible diagnostics?
Check if the torque display (MCTRL-MACT = 100 %) is below the rated speed of the drive with max. current (C0054 = C0022).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Multiply by correction factor [Suggestion for correcting the MCTRL-MSET2 signal (see enclosed picture below)].

Evaluation:
The function restriction is relevant if the signals MCTRL-MACT and MCTRL-MSET2 are evaluated e. g. by an external control.
