L_MC1P: MC_MoveAbsolut: Sporadically occurring error message (20333) in the profile generator (fixed from V03.31.00)

Removed from:
Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)  as of V03.31.00
                      (Update über Package-Manager)

Behavior of the new version:

When commissioning a new profile of a new profile or when updating the profile data using the Continuous Update function, the error message described no longer occurs.

Description of behavior:
When ordering a new profile or updating the profile data using the continuous update function, the error message the error message 20333 (ArithmeticError_MoveAbsolute) occurs sporadically.

Under what conditions does this behavior occur?
  • start a new motion profile or Updating the profile data via the continuous update function
  • The shape of the motion profile resulting from the given profile data is such that although the phase of constant delay is reached, it is only very short (time duration close to zero).
Affected products:
Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)

Short-term measures, Rating/Recommendations:

The described behavior can be avoided as follows:

Before calling the setpoint-generating FB, calculate the profile to be started with FB L_MC1PProfilGenerator.

If the error message described in the FB L_MC1P_ProfileGenerator occurs, this has no effect on the set values, as this FB does not have an axis input.

If the error message still occurs, the maximum profile delay of the increase the setpoint-generating FBs slightly. This change means that the phase of constant delay is not reached at all. The condition for the occurrence is therefore not met.
