Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with firmware versions V06.02 or V11.02 or higher
8400 TopLine with firmware versions V02.02 or higher
Behaviour of the new version?
When positioning modes > 3 are selected at the wPosMode input of the L_MckCtrlInterface function block, a Ck13 warning signal without a reason no longer occurs.
What happens?
A Ck13 warning signal occurs. The desired functionality, however, is not impaired because C0595/13 = 5 (warning) has been set in the factory as a reaction to the Ck13 signal. The warning is shown in C0166/3 and also leads to a logbook entry.
When does the problem occur?
The Ck13 warning signal is set if a positioning mode > 3 is stipulated at the wPosMode input of the L_MckCtrlInterface function block. This error message is triggered inadvertently because positioning modes > 3 are allowed from V02.xx upwards.
Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with firmware versions from V01.00 to V10.00
8400 TopLine with firmware versions ≤ V02.00
Diagnostics options?
The behaviour has occurred if a Ck13 warning signal is indicated in code C0166/3 without a cause.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
If the Ck13 warning has a disturbing effect on operation (e. g. during monitoring of the drive by means of a PLC or the unnecessarily generated logbook entries), set C0595/13 to 0 (no reaction) as an error response for this warning signal.
Evaluation:
The behaviour occurs if a supposedly invalid positioning mode is stipulated that is, however, valid from firmware V2.0 upwards. There is no impairment of drive movement whatsoever. The warning signal can be suppressed by means of the measure indicated under 'Short-term measures/recommendations'.
