Functional description
During synchronous motor operation (encoderless or with incremental encoder systems or in applications including resolvers from third-party motors), the pole position can be identified e.g. every time the controller is enabled.
The identification takes less than 15 ms and reaches an accuracy of 5-10° electrical which helps achieve good control characteristics of the synchronous motors.
The 8400TopLine is provided with the 'Pole position identification 360°' function for further optimisation.
