Manual jog including breakpoint for S-shaped ramps and C1259/1=0 - travelling is continued without a new edge

Which products are affected?
9300EP position controllers from V2.5 <= V8.0

What happens?
The drive stops only a short time at the parameterised C1261/x breakpoint positions and continues travelling immediately without waiting for a rising edge.

When does the problem occur?
If the manual jog including breakpoint (C1260 = 1) and the S-shaped ramp profile generator have been activated and a manual jog is performed in positive direction (POS-MANU-POS = 1).
If a manual jog in negative direction is performed (POS-MANU-NEG = 1), the drive stops precisely at the breakpoint position and does not continue travelling before a rising edge at POS-MANU-NEG is generated.

Possible diagnostics?
Perform a positive manual jog including breakpoint when S-shaped ramps have been activated (POS-S-RAMPS = 1).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Switch completely over to the linear profile generator (POS-S-RAMPS = 0) or – if S-shaped ramps have been activated (POS-PARAM-RD = 1) – activate the S-shaped ramp also for stopping the manual jog (C1259/1 = 1) if the manual jog has been enabled (POS-MANUAL = 1).
Note: In the default setting C1259/1 = 0, linear ramps are used for stopping although S-shaped ramps have been activated.
