Which products are affected?
GDC ≤ V4.10, GDCeasy ≤ V4.10 in combination with 8200vector/motec
What happens?
In case of GDC/GDCeasy the maximum value range for the oscillation damping (C0079) is not adapted to the value stored in the frequency inverter. Via GDC the oscillation damping can be set to a value of maximum 80, although the frequency inverter allows a maximum value of 140.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs, when code C0079 (oscillation damping) is to be set to a value > 80 by means of GDC/GDCeasy.
Possible diagnostics?
If a value > 80 is set in code C0079 by means of GDC/GDCeasy, an error message indicating the exceeding of the value range will occur.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Parameter setting of code C0079 by means of keypad.
Evaluation:
In GDC an incorrect maximum value for the oscillation damping is stored in the device description file for the 8200vector/motec. It can be avoided by means of the keypad. The function restriction has no consequences on the drive performance of the frequency inverter.
