Communication between module and inverter is aborted
Which products are affected?
The fieldbus function module E82ZAFPC201 Profibus I/O with firmware version 0.7 and external 24 V DC supply in combination with the 8200 vector/motec frequency inverter series
What happens?
If the 8200 vector / 8200 motec has been switched off and on again it may happen that the inverter does not use the process data which has been received via the Profibus.
When does the problem occur?
In case of an externally supplied Profibus module the problem described before occurs sporadically when the inverter is connected to the mains.
Possible diagnostics?
If the green LED does not stop blinking after mains connection of the inverter the behaviour described above has occurred.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
If the basic device is reconnected to the mains again it can be ensured that in 90 % of the cases the error described before can be remedied.
