Faulty positioning to profile position ('LockToCam')

Which products are affected?
ESP-SPAC-CAM1 – Software Package Cam V1.1 (template cam)

What happens?
When positioning the drive directly after homing to profile position ('Lock To Cam') the drive sporadically does not stop at the profile position, but traverses constantly. The traversing speed for constant traversing differs from the speed for positioning to profile position (see codes C3621).

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs sporadically when positioning to profile position is activated directly after homing.

Possible diagnostics?
Since the fault cannot be reproduced systematically, it is difficult to carry out diagnostics.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Provide a certain time interval (recommendation > 500 ms) between the end of homing (g_bHomingDone = TRUE) and the start of positioning to profile position.

Evaluation
The behaviour only occurs if positioning to profile position is activated directly after homing and can be avoided by the above-described measure. Since the fault is quite likely to occur, it is already detected in the commissioning phase.
