Which products are affected?
8200vector/motec ≤ SW3.1 in combination with a communication module (AIF or FIF)
What happens?
If the parameter jobs 'Load default setting' for the different parameter sets are sent more than once within a short period of time the process data communication is not updated anymore.
The drive does not respond when changing the control word or setpoint.
The status information of the communication stations is not updated.
When does the problem occur?
The loading of the default setting is acknowledged to the bus immediately after the parameter job 'Load default setting'.
At this time the processing of the telegram in the basic device has not been completed yet. If another 'Load default setting' parameter job (e.g. of another parameter set) is now written to the controller this error will occur.
If the inverter has acknowledged the successful loading of the default setting to the control, an additional processing time of up to 500 ms is required after every 'Load default setting' parameter telegram.
If this delay time is not observed, the process data communication is not processed correctly.
Possible diagnostics?
After loading the default setting of the entire device the process data communication is not updated any further (data to the inverter is not adapted, data from the inverter is not updated).
Short-term measures/recommendations?
A delay time of 500 ms must be considered after the 'Load default setting' parameter job before another parameter job is sent to this station.
Evaluation:
The 'controller inhibit' status is required for loading the default setting.
The process data communication is not processed any further in the error case described. The drive can perform unexpectedly after the enable.
If the default setting is loaded manually (e.g. via GDC) the performance described does not occur since the time between successive parameter jobs is longer than 500 ms.
