No entry in the history buffer on internal errors

Which products are affected?

ESP-SP-POS - Software Package Positioner V3.1
EVS93xx-ET (Servo PLC version 6.x dSMC control board)

What happens?

Template internal errors, e.g., an activated hardware limit switch (PosLimitSwitch) are not saved in the history buffer in the Servo PLC 9300 and can thus not be read in code C0168.

When does the problem occur?

All internal errors from the ENUM list 'ErrorCode' under (*Errors from Template*) and also the UserErrors created by the user are not saved in the history buffer (C0168).

Possible diagnostics?

The template is in the 'Trouble' state and 'QSP ext term' is indicated on the keyboard. However there is no entry in the history buffer C0168. The error number for the internal template error can then be read in code C3998.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

On the occurrence of an internal error, the keypad indicates 'QSP ext term'. The error number for the internal template error can be read in code C3998.

Evaluation:

The diagnostics of internal errors in template is possible using the code C3998 in the form of an error number. The missing entry in the history buffer is confusing and makes it more difficult to trace the cause of the failure.
