Precompilation reports error

Question:
Why can a project despite precompilation error be compiled correctly?

Answer:
With version V3.12, a 'Precompilation' function has been added to the PLC Designer (see AKB contribution Display of precompilation errors). During programming, the PLC Designer performs additional checks and enters irregularities into the message window in the 'Precompilation' category. Since the PLC Designer does not consider the entire project context during precompiling, messages such as 'Identifier "DynamicTextRegisterFile" not defined' may occur which are not displayed when compiling the project (Build>Build menu command).
Error messages which are only displayed during precompilation but not after compilation can be ignored.
