9400 with SM301 - Safe stop 1 with single-channel sensor - performance level d

Function:
When the emergency-stop switch or the sensor is actuated, the motor is stopped according to stop category 1 of EN 60204-1.
The cables to the single-channel sensor must be installed fail-safe (e. g. separately and protected by a cable duct) to exclude failures in the wiring. The sensor contact must be with positive break.
The safe input limits the sensor current to max. 30 mA. Therefore, the sensor need not be fused.

To ensure that an undetected sensor failure due to a short-circuit between two adjacent terminals of the same terminal strip (GI4 and GCL of X82.4) can be excluded, the single-channel sensor is connected between the terminal strips X82.3 and X82.4.
