Overchange with different positioning modes in profile 1 and profile 2
Question:
How can, in case of activated starting profile of an overchange positioning, the positioning mode of the following profile be modified?
Answer:
Requirement:
When the sequential function chart is used for the profile processing (see POE 'OverchangeSequence' in the Template example program), in the first step of the sequence chain the starting profile, as well as the following profile and the positioning mode must be transmitted to the profile generator. This mode is then automatically used for the starting profile and the following profile.
According to the application it is sometimes required to traverse the profiles in different modes. E. g. by means of the starting profile a certain target is positioned absolutely and by means of the following profile relatively.
Due to the following addition in the example POU 'OverChangeSequence' the positioning mode for the following profile can be determined separately:
figure – Step1:
As soon as the starting profile is active in the action of the step the positioning mode for the following profile can be transmitted to the profile generator.

IF (g_wMotionProfileNumber = Active) THEN
g_byPositioningMode := Relative;
