Cam number at CDATA-ACTCAM

Question:

Which cam number is indicated at CDAT-ACTCAM?

Answer:

First of all CDATA-ACTCAM has to be connected to an analogue input which is not standardised in per cent (e.g.: DFSET-VP-DIV).

During operation (CDATA-XRESET = 0):
  • The cam being executed by the CDATA block is displayed as an integer 0-7.

Command value is stopped and the cam is switched over to CDATA-SEL:
  • The cam is only accepted and indicated to ACTCAM when the command value passes through zero or CDATA-RESET is actuated.

Note:
In the case of CDATA-XRESET there is no passage through zero. The command value integrator is set to a value to the left of zero (360° of the cycle previously or -0). Only during the command value ramp with XRESET = 0 is the cam accepted and indicated to ACTCAM.
