Communication possibilities EMF2175 to Servo PLC / Drive PLC

Question:

Which additional communication possibilities does the AIF module 2175 offer in combination with the Servo / Drive PLC?

Answer:

The Servo and Drive PLC as well as the Lenze devices in general are extended with this AIF module by a CAN or DeviceNet interface. The module can be set to CAN or DeviceNet operation by means of DIP switches. By means of DIP switches it is also possible to select the device address and the Baud rate. Supported functionality on AIF of the servo PLC:
  • 3x PDO
  • 2x SDO
  • Sync Tx/Rx
  • Auto Boot-up 'Master'
  • drive profile DS301 supported

The codes for AIF-XCAN can be calculated by adding the value 2000 to the value of the code of 'Systembus on board'.
Example node-ID:
  • 'Systembus on board': Node-ID = C0350
  • AIF-XCAN: Node-ID = C2350 (350 + 2000)

If the Servo / Drive PLC is simultaneously participant of two physically disconnected CAN bus systems (1st via 'Systembus on board' and 2nd via 2175 AIF module), the Servo / Drive PLC can have the same node-ID (C0350) like the AIF-XCAN module (C2350). If, however, both interfaces are located at the same bus (electrically connected), different node-IDs are to be assigned for the Servo / Drive PLC and the AIF-XCAN (two participants at one bus).

The output data can transmit event-controlled or time-controlled.
