Accept positioning profile parameters during positioning

Question:
Do new positioning profile parameters can be accepted or modified during positioning?

Answer:
Yes. By the help of a high signal at the function block input POS-PARAM-RD new or modified positioning profile parameters can also be accepted immediately from the variable tables (VT) during current positioning. The positioning profile generator generates the speed positioning profile automatically in order to reach the new target position with the new parameters, without jerks or stops.

In case of continuous high level at POS-PARAM-RD new positioning profile parameters are accepted in a cycle of 10 ms.

The positioning profile parameters:
  • Target position
  • Positioning speed
  • Final speed
  • Acceleration
  • Deceleration
  • V-override
  • A-override
  • Selection of linear ramps or S-ramps
