Variable frequency drive fan for efficient and controlled industrial airflow
Lenze’s i550 motec enables decentralized installation and simplified commissioning
39 cm (15 in) housing height achieves a volume flow of up to 44 m³/minute (1.55 CFM) – compact but powerful!
Elektror is one of the leading international manufacturers of centrifugal fans and side channel blowers.
Due to the wide range of applications for air, Elektror is represented in almost all sectors of industry and manufacturing. The high-speed fans deliver the highest possible pressure for processes such as blowing off water droplets, drying food or cooling workpieces or for fixing non-magnetic materials in CNC machines.
High performance in a small space
This "small" powerhouse is compact and space-saving, has a high performance capacity, is robust, energy-saving, low-vibration and controllable – thanks to the VFD. And for all those who have not yet had any contact with a VFD – Elektror also offers the drive pre-configured, so that simple and smooth commissioning is guaranteed.
Compact VFDs for any ventilation solution
Thanks to its equally compact design, the i550 cabinet VFD family is particularly suitable for applications with high requirements where space is limited – whether in the control cabinet (i550 cabinet), on the wall (i550 protec) or wall- or motor-mounted (i550 motec).
The i550 protec complies with EN IEC 61800-9-2 standards and offers a high degree of protection so that it can be mounted directly near the fans without the need for additional housings or special covers. Standard certifications such as UL for use in the U.S. market are, of course, included.
"The i550 series from Lenze has proven to be a real all-rounder: Not only does it meet the highest standards of design, control and energy efficiency, it also makes it easier for our customers to switch to frequency inverter operation thanks to its simple installation without a control cabinet. The IP66 degree of protection makes it ideal for our areas of application - both for our cast aluminum fans and for our large-volume steel fans," says Sebastian Weiß, Product Manager at Elektror airsystems gmbh.
