Engineer crashes when editing/downloading old Engineer projects

What happens?
The Engineer crashes, when opening the Safety Editor or downloading a project.

When does this behaviour occur?
The Engineer crashes if the opened Engineer project was created using an Engineer version lower than V2.22 and the SM301 safety module of the 9400 servo inverter is used in the project.

Short-term measures:
Use L-force Engineer V2.22 to open the Engineer project and save the project using this Engineer version. When opening the project, the old catalogue versions may be retained.

If the L-force Engineer V2.22 is not installed on your PC, it can be installed as follows:
  1. Exit the entire Lenze software.
  2. Save the following file to any directory on your PC:
    Engineer_V222.zip (348 MB)
  3. Unpack the zip file to to any directory on your PC.
  4. Start the setup.exe.file from this directory.
  5. Follow the installation instructions.
Note:
An error message may appear after installing the Engineer V2.22 when starting the Engineer V2.28. In this case uninstall the Engineer V2.28 and install it again.

Evaluation/recommendations:
