Eliminated from:
StateLine / HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher
Behaviour of the new version?
Parameters C0367 and C0368 were converted into a bit coded format to adapt to CANopen. In index 1005 (C0368), the transmission of the sync signal can be switched on by setting Bit30. Parameter sets can be transferred from devices with firmware < V05.01.
This display is visible in the Engineer V2.12 or higher. In the Engineer representation, the transmission of the sync signal is switched off by setting Bit15.
For the Engineer V2.10 SP3, a catalogue update is created to help users with an Engineer version other than V2.12 diagnose this new behaviour.
Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine / HighLine with FW < 05.01
What happens?
If a time is written to index 1006 of the 8400 devices, this value is displayed in code C0369. Regardless of the setting of Bit30 in index 1005, the 8400 starts sending sync telegrams immediately.
When does the problem occur?
If a higher-level control configures the transmission of the sync signal on the controller and uses CANopen index 1005 in combination with the sync time setting in CANopen index 1006 for this purpose and the transmission of the sync telegram is to be activated / deactivated via Bit30.
Possible diagnostics?
Display of the telegrams using the PCAN Explorer.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
After the function has been configured via CANopen indices, set and save the desired function via Lenze parameter C0369 = 0.
Evaluation:
The transmission of the sync telegram can be switched on / off via the time setting in index 1006.
