Stop: Moderate overshoot if greater S-ramp times are used (remedied from V8.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine SW V08.00.24.00

Behaviour of the new version?
The drive is able to stop now without reversing motion even if greater S-ramp times are selected.

<hr>

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine SW ≤ V07.01.06.00

What happens?
Overshoots in negative direction occur when stopping.

When does the problem occur?
The behaviour occurs if larger S-ramp times of e. g. 1 second are set in C02611/0. The Lenze default value for code C02611/0 is 0.100 seconds.

Possible diagnostics?
The value set in code C02611/0 is considerably greater than the Lenze default value of 0.100 seconds, which results in slight overshoots in negative direction when stopping.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Adjust the S-ramp time in code C02611/0 accordingly to avoid overshoots when stopping.

Evaluation
Very large S-ramp times are rarely used in practice. In most cases, the S-ramp time can be reduced to avoid overshoots.
