Under the cable cross-section data in the Lenze Operating and Mounting Instructions you will find the abbreviation 'AWG'. This abbreviation stands for 'American Wire Gauge' and is a US wire diameter coding.
The convention is based on 'old' production processes and is mainly used in North America in connection with UL approval as admission criterion for the American market.
Unfortunately, the coding is inverse to the cable cross section indicated in the EN standards in Europe, i.e. the higher values stand for smaller cross sections.
