DTC - Direct Torque Control

Direct torque control:
  • Allows you to control speed and torque with inverter-fed three-phase drives.
  • Unlike vector control, the DTC method does not use a modulator but a motor model and a comparator. The torque and magnetic flux values are detected at a very high sampling rate. This allows fast torque control and thus an improved speed control and a high dynamic and static speed accuracy.
