Which products are affected?
Function restriction eliminated on the 9300EP servo positioning controller as of versions V2.5 and V6.1.
Eliminated function restriction
With S-ramp activated the drive in manual mode drifted beyond the position limits when they were reached, as long as 'manual positioning' had still being actuated.
Possible diagnostics?
With S-ramp activated in manual mode move to the position limits. If the manual positioning signal continues to prevail, the drive continues to drift.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Do not actuate manual positioning any longer if position limits have been reached.
Evaluation:
Uncritical because with manual positioning the drive is 'monitored' by the operator.
