FEVAN - value is sporadically not written to selected code (elimination)

Which products are involved?
  • Positioning controller V6.1 (V2.6 in case of old Vecon control board)

In contrast to assumptions until now the other 9300 types (ES, EK, ER) have not been affected!
Due to the small number of FEVAN blocks the software of the FEVAN function is structured differently, so that the problem does not occur.

Eliminated function restriction:
FEVAN operates impeccable now, even in case of single writing.
Sporadically the value to be transmitted by FEVAN has not been written to the selected code. Consequently, the code has not changed. The risk was at approx. 1/1000 writing processes. The FEVAN itself did not supply any feedback via the output FEVAN-FAIL. In the application itself the user had to check, weather the value actually arrived.

If e. g. the position target has been transmitted by the FB FEVAN, the drive could, if transmission has been incorrect, repeat positioning with the previous position-target. In case of absolute positioning the drive stood still and in case of relative positioning the previous distance was traversed again.
