Resetting the integrated process controller

Question:

How can a process controller reset be performed?

Answer:

A reset of the process controller is performed by activating the DC brake or by inhibiting the frequency inverter. However, the reset can also be triggered by simultaneously activating PCTRL1-I-OFF and PCTRL1-OFF via a digital input.

Note:
With 'frozen' PID controller (PCTRL1-STOP) a reset of the PID controller is only possible via CINH or GSB. There is no change in PID-OUT by PCTRL1-I-OFF (integral component = 0) and simultaneously activating PCTRL1-OFF (proportional component = 0) if the process controller is 'frozen'.
