Corrected from:
- Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V16.00.00
- Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V16.00.00
Response of the new version:
The field controller parameters calculated after an identification are immediately effective and not only after mains switching.
What happens? The control characteristics in the field weakening range of an ASM in servo control mode are not as expected after identifying the motor parameters. After mains switching, the performance is improving although the parameter settings have not been changed.
When does this behaviour occur?
With the Lenze setting 'MCTRL: Special settings' C2865/1 bit4=FALSE, the field controller parameters C77 and C78 will be calculated automatically after a motor parameter identification.
These values are not, as expected, accepted immediately but only after switching the mains for the inverter.
Which products are affected?
- Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V16.00.00
- Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V16.00.00
Short-term measures:
Can the function restriction be removed by the user writing once again to C77 and C78?
Switch the mains for the inverter after the motor parameter identification.
Evaluation/recommendations:
In general, a motor parameter identification is only performed for third-party motors. In the case of an insufficient control performance in the field weakening range, the user will intuitively change the field controller parameters. The new values will be accepted by writing to C77/C78.
