Behavior of the new version:
The EASY Firmware Loader automatically recognizes whether the storage medium is an SD card or a USB stick. Depending on this, the EASY Firmware Loader prepares the storage medium so that the firmware update starts automatically when the controller with this storage medium is switched on.
Description of the behavior: The firmware version selected with the EASY Firmware Loader is not installed in the Lenze Controller.
Conditions under which the behavior occurs: If the SD card of a Lenze Controller is prepared for a firmware update with the EASY Firmware Loader, this firmware version is not installed in the Lenze Controller after the controller is switched on with this prepared SD card.
Use one of the following ways to install a firmware update in a Lenze Controller:
Connect the Lenze Controller to your PC via Ethernet and use the EASY Firmware Loader to install the desired firmware version in the Lenze Controller via this communication path.
Select the desired firmware version in the EASY Firmware Loader and prepare a USB stick with it. Insert this USB stick into the Lenze Controller and switch on the controller.
