L_TS2P_CrossCutter: Error when engaging from the park position (fixed as of V3.31.1)

Fixed as of:

L_TS2P_TechModulesSynchronizingCamming (in V3.31.1 and as of V3.33.0)

(Update via Easy Package Manager)

Behavior of the new version:

In the new version, the undesirable reversing of the axis in the vicinity of the parking position has been completely resolved.

The axis now transitions directly and smoothly into the synchronous phase for the mark-based cut without any backward movement.

This results in smoother motion control, and the previously sporadic behavior no longer occurs.

Description of behavior:

The axis reverses over a short distance around the park position before transitioning into the synchronizing phase for the cut to the mark.

This brief reverse movement occurs sporadically and depends on the distance between the detected marks.

Conditions under which the behavior occurs:

 The behavior is observed when:

  • The mode eCuttingMode = 3 (cutting to a mark) is active
  • the distances between the marks are such that the tool of the cross-cutting axis regularly comes to a stop in the park position
  • when a new mark is detected, the axis briefly reverses before transitioning to the synchronized phase for the mark-based cut

Affected products:

Short-term measures, recommendations, assessment:

  • This behavior does not occur deterministically, but only sporadically.
  • A set offset lrSetOffsetPosX > 0 increases the likelihood that the behavior will occur more frequently.
  • The profiles are calculated correctly and executed without jumps.
  • No impermissible position or speed steps occur, so there are no safety- or function-related restrictions on the operation of the cross-cutter.
  • The behavior is classified as non-critical, as it does not impair the accuracy and functionality of the cutting process.
