i750 (i950) with absolute encoder SSI-SinCos (0x2C40=[6]): Encoder evaluation does not work (fixed from V01.04.00)

Removed from:
Servo inverter i750 FW:  from V01.04.00
behavior of the new version:
The evaluation of SSI-SinCos absolute encoders are now working properly.

Description of behavior:
The use of an absolute encoder SSI-SinCos does not work properly.

Operation is not possible, neither with asynchronous motor (ASM) nor with synchronous motor (SM, PSM).

The SinCos tracks are incorrectly not evaluated and the encoder evaluation remains stuck in an initialization routine.

Conditions under which the behavior occurs:

  • Use of an absolute encoder SSI-SinCos
  • Setting 0x2C40 = [6]
Affected products:
Servo inverter i750 FW

Short-term measures, Recommendations, Rating:
Theoretically, there is a short-term remedy the possibility to use the i750 FW V01.00.xx. However, this does not include the fixes of the following three versions.
Another option may be to connect the drive system to the encoder. is to switch on and initialize the drive system with the SSI encoder configuration and then change the encoder configuration to SinCos immediately afterwards.
The absolute actual position and thus also the pollage (important for synchronous motors) are retained during reparameterization. The actual position is then incremented via the SinCos signals.
