Default parameters via EtherCAT not transferable to i950 motion axis 230V/240V
Question:
What is the probable cause if a motion axis i950 for 230V/240V mains connection cannot be initialised with the deafult parameters when starting up the EtherCAT and how can this be diagnosed?
Answer:
In a topology in which the i950 is used as a CiA controller under a Lenze MotionController, the EtherCAT status 'operational' can only be achieved if the parameters could be completely transferred from the controller to the i950 during initialisation.
At the start of commissioning or in project planning scenarios, it is often started with default parameterisation.
In this context, it should be noted that with i950 axes for 230V/240V mains connection, the default setting of the rated mains voltage 0x2540:1 = 1: 400 Vrms cannot be written.
An incomplete download can best be diagnosed in the MotionController logbook. Here you will also find the information about which parameter could not be written.
0x2540:1 must therefore already be parameterised appropriately in the offline PLCD project so that the download can be completed.
