Please consider that too many levels of modules may influence the performance of the EASY System Designer, especially the performance of the topology view generation. We recommend limiting the granularity of the machine project to six levels.



General information:

EASY System Designer supports you in creating the drive and automation solution. Certain calculations and checks are integrated and are continuously further developed. A completeness of the calculations and checks cannot be guaranteed. The specific properties and operating behavior of the components and their use in the entire system cannot be taken into account. We also recommend carrying out a system check by a Lenze specialist.

System requirements:

  • Web browser
    • The usage is optimized for Microsoft Edge (Chromium), Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. 
    • No support for Microsoft Internet browser and Microsoft Edge (Previous version before chromium).
  • Operation is optimized for use on PCs and notebooks.
  • It is recommended not to exceed a screen resolution of approx. 2000 x 1000 pixels and to use the 100% mode of the display setting.

Pop-up blockers and document downloads: 

  • Some functions open additional browser tabs (transfer to EPF basket) or open additional dialogs with additional services (CAD, DOCFinder, etc).
    Popups must be allowed for this. Please set the popup blocker so that these popups are allowed by the EASY System Designer.
  • Also pay attention to the settings made in the browser regarding the download of generated documents.

Browser Cache:

  • To optimize your user experience, browsers cache some files on which we have no control.
  • When updating the software, it may be necessary for the browser to reload these files.
  • You must do this by yourself by deleting the following information in the browser settings / delete browser files:
    • Browsing history, download history, cookies and other website data as well as cached images and files
  • We recommend to do this first, if you have the impression of a misbehaviour.

Enter numbers in comma or dot notation:

  • The input depends on the language setting used by the Web browser.
  • If German is set as the language, the comma can be entered.
